Manchester City 1-0 Manchester United

Manchester United lost to their rivals Manchester city at Etihad stadium on Sunday. The visitors lost the first Manchester Derby of the season with the score line of 1-0 , Kun Aguero of Manchester city was the one to get his name on the score sheet, the score line of the derby may have been different if the referee would have given the 3 penalties in the favour of the Manchester city and also if Chris Smalling of Manchester United would not have been sent off right before the half time whistle. The reds struggled through out the second half after they were reduced to 10 men and City took the full advantage of having an extra man on the field, they looked more fluent in their passing and defensively sharp in the second half of the game and did not allow Manchester United to level the scores.

Manchester City now have won 6 of the last 7 derbies, and has also created a record of winning 4 Manchester derbies consecutively in the Premier League.
