Manchester City VS Manchester United Match Preview

Manchester City will be hosting their bitter rivals Manchester United  on Sunday at Etihad Stadium (home ground of Manchester city). Manchester City is currently third in the table with 17 points in 9 games, Manchester city will be a bit low on morale because of their recent performances in the last two games where they lost last weekend 2-1 to West Ham United and 2-0 on Wednesday night to Newcastle United at Etihad whereas their rival Manchester United are eighth in the table with 13 points in 9 games, after having a disappointed start to their season Manchester United are  looking strong now with their recent performances against Everton at Godisson park where they won 2-1 and against Chelsea where they came from 1-0 behind to level the game 1-1 against them. But the main concern for both the teams is the injury crisis with the key play maker David Silva of Manchester City has been ruled out from the Sunday's Manchester Derby and  Radamel Falcao of Manchester United is also likely to miss the same, the good news for both the team is that both of their key players are available to start the game Yaya Toure of Manchester City is fit for the Derby and Wayne Rooney of Manchester United has completed his suspension of 3 games and is also available for the derby.

Manchester city have won last five of the six Manchester derbies, but facing a rival team having a low morale will be a tough task for them. but the good news for the city is that Yaya Toure is fit and he has scored 3 times in his last four appearances against united, and a plus point for the united will be their skipper Wayne Rooney who is the all time top scorer of the derby netting 19 times against the city. so overall this will be a match to set an eye for.
