Journalism ethics

Ethics in media refers to the certain rules and regulations decided for the journalism, while following these step one can become a true journalist. Ethics are always mentioned in every subject whether it is medical science, political science and engineering. There are few fundamental journalism ethical standards which most people agree like accuracy, fairness, balance, truth and objectivity. Journalism should be based upon the fact not rumors. A balance news is one which mention five W and one H in it. Journalism shouldn't work as business house or with any political party. Work of media is to inform people about everything new happening in their Surrounding without any biased behavior. Media while presenting information to the masses are expected to maintain ethical standards as their way of reporting directly or indirectly affects the lives of the masses.  Article 19 (1)(a) of the Constitution of India guarantees to thecitizen, the right to “Freedom of speech and expression”.
The press is an indispensable pillar of democracy. It purveys public opinion and shapes it. Parliamentary democracy can flourish only undert he watchful eyes of the media. Media not only reports but acts as a bridge between the state and the public.  What more accurate and better way to conclude can be than the words of Mahatma Gandhi, an eminent journalist is his own right, “Thes ole aim of journalism should be service".

Book launch:- NORTH CAMPUS BY TRIPURAI




The book launch programme was organised in khalsa college on 17/01/20. The book named as 'North campus' written by Tripurai who was an alumini of this college. The event started with the delivery the starting speech by Smita mishra mam, she also introduced him in front of students and teachers. Then principal of the college, Dr. Jaswinder singh addressed the audience. Chief guest Anant vijay, speaker Smita mishra, prabhaat ranjan, and Anushakti singh, one bye one all adressed the audience while speaking about the Book of the ex- student of the college. They tell us about the ground on which tripurari had wrote his first story book creation. Then Tripurari itself told us about his book and the persons who inspired him to write such stories. He also thanked to his mentor or teachers. Later Anushakti mam had asked some critical questions to him, which he answered very  calmly. The programme ends with the thank you speech by Dr. Smita mam and some beautiful poem we heard by Tripurai sir. Later refreshment was distributed to all students.
