Narendra Modi slams Delhi Government- Says CWG 2010 was a big business opportunity wasted

Among all the heist and the hustle Narendra Modi had created while addressing the biggest ever political gathering in the capital city New Delhi, the BJP PM candidate had put forth his thoughts over the Delhi CommonWealth Games 2010.

According to Modi, the million dollar multi nation sports tournament was a big business opportunity wasted due to the inefficiency and the corrupt leadership in the administration.

Citing Korea's example, Modi explained how having hosted the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul had opened all the business avenues for South Korea from across the world which led to a major economic boom in the Korean economy.

Modi also mentioned that being superior in the world is not only about being the military power or economic power anymore but a nation should also look forward to become a sports power. Quoting China's extremely successful sporting prowess, the Gujarat CM has touched upon many lackings and bottlenecks which continue to plague the Indian sports and economy alike.

We Care 2013

“ We Care " – devoted to films on Disability was a hit. The three day program took place at Apeejay Institute, Dwarka to create awareness and to sensitize public  issues concerning disabilities through the medium of films. The program started with a speech of Ashok Ogra, the Director on Disability issues. What is Disability? – A physical or mental conditions that limits a person’s movements, senses, or activities.

The program showed us the different types of short movies on disability on how they suffer but still how they manage to get back, motivate themselves and achieve something good in life. The short movies taught us the story of never cry attitude , how to motivate yourself , keep trying and to do something different.  Normal person needs to change his thinking towards disabled person because there are some of the disabled person who have achieved something big in life, this is what We Care event also added.

Movies and documentaries like The Butterfly circus, Kinara, The Time Killer etc were shown.  The best was the “ The Butterfly Circus “ in which Nick Vujicic, the disabled person who was born in 1982, Australia with no arms and legs was a actor. The movie was all about the disabled person who works in Circus, how he motivate himself, perform stunts and achieve something big. What the movie taught us the Never give up attitude, Nick added if you fail, try again and again, keep trying. If you fail 100 times, and you give up do you think you can still get up, no. If you fail and try again and again, it’s not the end, it matters how you gonna finish. Are you gonna finish strong, you will surely get the strength to get back up and achieve what you want. The film won the Doorpost Film Project’s top prize. The film also won the best short film award at The Feel Good Film Festival in 2010. He was truly an inspirational character who is currently an motivational speaker. His first book, Life without Limbs was published in 2010. All the films shown were all about, impossible is nothing. All the disabled person in the films were having a positive attitude towards their life.
As Scott Hamilton rightly said :
The Only Disability in life is a bad attitude.

Indian Football Forum 2013 took place at Indian Habitat Center, sponsored by Coca – Cola, Adidas, consulting partner Libero Sports was a hit. The one day conference covered various topics like :
1         1)   Under  17 FIFA World Cup
2          2)   The Bundesliga, success during 10 years.
3              3)     Pune FC
4             4)    I League
5             5)  Big Corporates, New format of the game, viewership.

It all started with Sir Ayaz Memon, the presenter who had some words on Indian Football.
Later on, it was discussed that is India ready to host Under 17 FIFA World Cup. Yes they said, but India still needs to build some good infrastructure, good ground facilities and more importantly good medical facilities. If they achieve in doing all this then only countries will send their best football team to our country to play football.
Then Mr. Peter Leible, Chief Representative Asia Pacific, Bundesliga shared some words on their football league. He showed us the highlights of growth and development of the German league during last 10 years. Though German football league has less viewership than Barclays Premier League still they are happy to be in number 2 because of the love, young talent they are producing, no debts of the clubs. He told us about the story of club Dortmund who were in the financial crisis were supported by Bayern Munich Football Club, no clubs in German League is in debts now as he compared Chelsea Football Club in EPL facing a debts. They spend lots of money on the young talent, building infrastructure which help player to nurture likes of Rues. He also told us that no foreign investor is allowed to invest in German Football Club more than 49% of the share that sounds very good.  He added that the timings of the club matches does not suits the other country but still they are preferring the same timings as their own country people are supporting them and are coming in large amount to watch a match. He compared the brand value of Bundesliga i.e. 72 million dollar with BPL i.e. 88 million dollar but stills he leaves a smile of his face with the points he added before. German players like Philip Lahm, Schweinsteiger gets a call from clubs like Manchester  United but still they prefer German club because of the love, money spend on them to nurture when they were young.

Jose Mourinho!

Jose Mourinho, the former Portuguese football player, great manager of all time who is currently managing the Chelsea Football Club needs to put on his foot forward. The manager who holds the record of winning the League or UEFA Champions League with different clubs in a short period of time is a a genius.
In 2001, he guided Chelsea Football Club to win English Premier League consecutive for two years. Later he moved to Inter Milan Football Club and made them the UEFA Champions League winner and Serie A winner and then to his dream job at Real Madrid finishes with a LA Liga title. Now, the most arrogant manager is facing a problem here at Chelsea.
The manager is fighting with a challenge here. Roman Abramovich, the Chelsea boss brought him to win title's for the club but the team loss against Basel in Champions League , Everton in EPL and most important UEFA Club title with Bayern Munich has put the club in shocker.
As I personally believe, he needs to understand the attacking game in English Premier League. Now days clubs are more challenging, non defeat attitude are bringing them up the league. His backfoot strategy is causing the problem to the club, his current defeat in finals of UEFA Club, Basel in Champions League and Everton in EPL tell his backfoot strategy. We could notice that the Club was winning in all conditions but his defending strategy went wrong. The last minute's goal change the game. The club was winning the UEFA Club 2-1 with Bayern till 90 + ( 15th) minute. He changes his strategy here, went to backfoot which caused the club the goal at last mini seconds of the match, call it a luck or a wrong idea. Is he scared of attacking in the last minute's of the game?
Though, a gem manager is having a difficult time but we all know what Mourinho can do for the club. He is a star. He is in talks all around the world but this guy will turn it around soon. Chelsea fan trust you, blue is your colour. Cummon jose!
As someone rightly said,
" Sometimes we need to lose in present to win in future "
