What is news?

Anything new which draws intrest of an individual or of a group is called news.

It gives us information about the unfamiliar things or events going around us.

There are different types of news:

●ENTERTAINMENT  : Nowadays news has become a great source of entertainment. For example the the bollywood news ,gossips etc.

●POLITICAL: It gives us the information about the ruling party as well as the opponent.For example Whatever rules are changed in our constitution ,some articles which are abolished etc.

●SPORTS: It gives us information about games like cricket,football etc.For example which player will play in the future or who is not in the team etc

●WEATHER: It awares us from the climate and the future coming natural disasters.

●BUSINESS & ECONOMY:It puts forward  the financial & economic growth of the country.

●FOREIGN AFFAIRS: It gives us the information that what is going on other countries and it also explains the dealings and relations of India with other countries.

Format of news writing..

In newspaper the news is presented in such a way :-

First there is a heading .Then there is a subheading.Then it comes to the first para of the news which give direct information about the topic after that the intro comes,which flourishes the information and at the end,there is the last para which conclude the whole news especially it compliments the first paragraph.So that if the reader's mind gets lost in between reading the news the last paragraph rolls it up.

When it comes to article writing then it simply means it's been written with a target for someone to read it and any article can be considered as a nice one if it succeeds to make the reader to feel the same thought with which the article is been written

descriptive (describing something interesting)

Narrative(presenting by connecting diffredif events)

Persuasive(centers on  motivational,beliefs,attitude type of topics)

Expository(explain something)

Apart from that articles are meant to publish mainly in three types that is either it will be published in a newspaper in a journal  magazine and these three demands for a specific art to write article.

in case of newspaper writing it's a challenge for writer to write article in a way that everybody can read it easily simply it should be easy to read and language should be simple because newspaper is for general public who are not so professional in every subject so the term which are used in that must be those which people can understand

It's not very much round
Anybody who writes news must not write anything which sounds like crap
Being to the point helps reader to collect more knowledge in less time .so writing direct news helps readers like a brownie point if he is interested in gathering more knowledge in less time.

Designing is a also a very important element of today's newspaper because if today if we have a habit of going to a specific section then we must also look at a specific corner in very first look when we open a page ....this is the thing what designer keep in mind to select the location of news on a specific page so as to draw required attention on a particular news
This human phycology of lookin at a specific corner is something which designer think about when placing articles.

For instance when you open a newspaper
Sports page than most of  you look at the top right corner by default which is natural
So now if  designer knows this now he will be placing articles accordingly !!

New media is same as it sounds it's a fantastic way to reach people in a fast,  easy ,comfortable and  in very less time.

New media which generally have terms like social media ,Facebook ,WhatsApp, YouTube ,Twitter and other social networking sites like  instagram.

All these terms which are connected to internet can give you a reach which no one can!! in a very short time you can reach millions of people in a few seconds if you have that information which must be  every citizen must know!
The time in which people were reading newspapers magazines and other paper information by collecting them from the shops by 💰 money now you can read all that stuff by just clicking a website on internet

You can easily read all those newspapers and magazines which are there in market on your phone which is a great power of new media!!

Without investing a single penny!!
You can also become active part of a particular event which you are watching live on your phone by commenting on that particular event which are going on live on your Facebook

You can present your views directly to the producer who is producing a particular information which can be a news or event which happened recently!!

Everything has some merits and demerits and the same is with new media new media has up power of reaching so many people that can be used for good or bad like someone can easily spread a fake information on WhatsApp by just writing few lines and making it viral and it becomes viral because of our stupidity but we keep sharing every data on WhatsApp and other social medias without actually searching that is it actually correct or not!!

Everything has a solution!! and  fake information also has a solution police has made a particular system to analyse all those shares on WhatsApp that who is the producer of that information of in case the information is wrong then they can take a legal action against the admin of that group all the person who have shared it first

Rest is up to us that how we use new media for good or for bad that totally depend on us even we can control that fake news by just analysing all those things which we share on a particular website or other social networking site
Stay safe don't be  trap because of any stupid information be wise on internet use new media for the best and good only

HOW &WHY IT LOOKS SO GOOD TO WATCH A NEWS CHANNEL.🤔🤔🤔🤔
Broadcasting on a channel!!


All this presentation on news channels  is like a rain which finally happens !
After soo much of background preparation which nature do.

 Before presenting particular news there is a lot of research and a lot of hard work is put to get on a final report or news which  finally broadcasts in front of us.

*ANCHOR*

If we talk about the channels then they actually have DIFF parts first is anchor who coordinates to all the information and facts which are considered as news from the person who is actually analysing that news and witnessing that personally  by being at that particular point where the incident is actually happened or happening.
The anchor play a very important role as it is the face of the channel and it is his duty to make the audience feel that they are on the right channel!!
AND CONTINUOUSLY PROVIDING USEFUL INFORMATION WHICH IS ACTUALLY USEFUL!!
It takes different efforts for this like presentation skills which are shown by the body language the facial expressions and some other facts that how all of the news will look like which the anchor is presenting IT ALL CAN END IN FEW SECONDS IF THE ANCHOR IS NOT DOING HIS OR HER DUTY IN A WAY IN WHICH IT SHOULD BE!

2. THE REPORTS

they also have their own value because all the information which the anchor is coordinating and presenting is the result of the hard work which a reporter puts by telling all the things happening at that particular place from where the news is originated. This also takes a lot of effort so as to present the news in the best possible way by speaking so that the audience can make a connect without actually being on the place where the incident has happened so this becomes the duty of the reporter because the way in which he is presenting is going to be decided bye the way in which he has personally analysed the place and its surrounding and thinking about and presenting all the possible angles of that particular information so that each and every audience should feel like that they are actually getting the news and if each audience gets the perfect idea that what actually happened there then this concludes that! that the particular reporter  reporting is a nice one.
And knows his role.😋


3rd CAMERAMAN

THIS IS THE MAN which provides the visual beauty to the coordinator and reporter both because the way in which he shoots the whole scenario will be finally deciding how good is all going to be because according to science human psychology is something in which pictures are more easily captured and one can remember more facts based on figures and pictures so the reporter speaking needs a particular kind of footage so that his words and the focus of camera can make a connect that what he is speaking should be representing what is been picturized in front of the audience and the public.

Camera man needs different kind of skills for shooting the event going on in front of him there are different frames in which it is all supposed to be recorded.
Like if he is recording emotion or a feeling then he is supposed to record a close up to that particular face who is showing that emotion

Another frame which involves body movements with the facial expressions in which behalf of the body is captured so that this kind of a motion can be presented in a good way
Because there are some emotions which also involves some body movements so to be presented in the best possible way.

Another frame is frame in which background is supposed to be recorded so that it takes a for you to captu capture a particular group and its background which will depict that what kind of place is it.



SO PRESENTING A NEWS IS A TEAMWORK
WHICH INVOLVES A HUGE TEAM IN WHICH EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN ROLE BUT WE CAN SUMMARISE ALL THIS WITH THE THREE MAJOR FACES THAT IS THE FACE OF THE ANCHOR THE FACE OF THE CAMERAMAN AND THE REPORTER WHO ACTUALLY MAKE IT POSSIBLE.😊😊😉😉🤗

1. Generally newspaper headline which most of you have read several times have a particular format in WHICH it is supposed to be written .


it's not a like a ordinary paragraph in which we write basic facts only.
1st para consist of some (4W)s.
When
What
Where ..

2nd  Para is for  elaborating about why and how!!

It also has  a good amount of labour utilised which work behind a particular news report .
Like if there is a photo then it is needed to mention
That who clicked that .
And other relevent information in which one can be easily address to the person who have originated it.
And all the information have a proper research done before printing .
It's does not happens like applying butter to the bread!!!
One must be very confident about the content he provides.

 Importance of words importance of vocabulary when we talk about words then it is actually key to present your thoughts and actually yourself in front of an individual through your language in which you are speaking no matter what a great idea you have no matter what feelings you have no matter how good you are at a particular topic because at last whatsoever you have in your mind is supposed to be expressed somewhere and if you are able to speak then obviously you will choose a language and every language has its own vocabulary

 So expressing yourself simply means transferring your Idea emotion or feeling which you are having as it is to the person or crowd which you have in front of you as it is

How better you will explain may depends on how good vocabulary you have if we place non verbal and presentation aside.


Vocabulary please a very important role because you have to choose very less number of words instead of using a long sentence for example the process by which plant make their food by using sunlight.
Can say this process which plant used in just a single word that is photosynthesis !!so having good vocabulary makes you sound smart short and simple.
Now you become very much precise and effective.

Vocabulary not only play role in speaking but also helps in writing and listening because if you want to hear someone then also you must be feeling the connect with that person then only you will be able to get the idea what the person is speaking as it is.
