Through these classes we got an opportunity to meet some eminent personalities who provided us with knowledge on various topics.We met Dr.AMARNATH AMAR and DR.VIJAY KUMAR MALHOTRA.Dr.Amarnath is producer and head for various teleserials in Doordarshan while latter is currently working with microsoft in Pune and he was the joint director of I.R.C.T.C.He taught in the UNIVERSITY OF YORK.He was the head of the hindi department there.Dr. Amarnath gave us a flashback on the history of doordarshan and how and when ALL INDIA RADIO was estabilished.Both of them discussed the importance of hindi.Dr.Amarnath gave his outlook on purity of any language while Dr.Vijay discussed about UNICODE,he told us that apart from English we can also work in computer in other languages too.He introduced us with three types of keyboards that can help typing in hindi as well as other regional languages.They both updated us with valuable knowledge.I learnt a lot about my own mother tongue HINDI which filled me with a sense of pride.ANKITA,SPORTS ECONOMICS AND MARKETING.
